Our industry is so complex and changes ever frequently that one must read for hours a day to keep up with the masses in order to be profitable.  Information is key and us being a neutral source that does not compete for industry know-how is what we are all about.  To exploit the hidden treasures of tools, connections and philosophies that can enhance your business indefinitely. 

Whether you play by the rules or dabble in the grey area of email marketing, all of us must know the pertinent consequences, whether good or bad, so we can either continue with prosperity or halt bad practices.  After all, we have no lobbyists.  We have no checks and balances.  There are no outcomes of our actions nor politics that keep our industry leveled.  There are lawsuits and a Can-Spam diplomacy that has so many holes that anyone with a good lawyer and a pocket full of cash can bend the outcome in their favor. 

But some are not so lucky.  We have international untouchable rogues that can attack without warning which can bring any ill prepared marketing company to its knees costing thousands of dollars for one simple electronic message.  An ever increasing game of chess is what my readers play and The Data Guide intends to expose some of the secret moves so you can stay ahead of the game without being handed your hat.
